Today we're going to take a look at the Taylor Made 48" long mast buoy.Now this mast buoy is great for attaching to your mooring pendant or for marking where you're scuba diving. The mast is constructed of a 5/16" diameter pultruded fiberglass with a PVC outer layer around it for strength and flexibility. And also protects you from the fiberglass, there's no fiberglass that is exposed.The float is a solid urethane float, provides flotation and years of service. And at the very bottom is a cast-metal weight that will feature corrosion resistant HDPE coating that won't scratch or mar your boat's finish.Now the mast length, from right down here all the way to the very top is 48" long. Above the buoy, from here to here, is going to be about 31 1/4". The total buoy length is about 12".
And the length below it is about 6 3/4". Now this does have approximate six pounds of buoyancy. The part is made in the USA.But that should do it for the review on the Taylor Made 48" long mast buoy.
